Job at a glance
Work included
Stay clear if any part of the tree is suspended, under tension, touching a power line or resting on an occupied structure. For wires or an immediate danger, contact the utility or emergency services first. Then mark the condition in the form so the job receives the correct review before scheduling. Standing-tree removal, downed-tree cleanup, trimming and stump work, including mature trees, coordinated with a licensed tree professional. Cutting, hauling, stump grinding, grindings removal and backfill are each identified in the quote.
Access and preparation
Whether the tree is standing, fully down or suspended, what it touches (utilities, structures, fences), and equipment access to the base.
What shapes the quote
Condition and size, hazards and what the tree touches, equipment access, debris volume and the stump and finish work requested.

What the work can look like

Where to request tree work
Cecil County and selected Harford County ZIPs: standing and fallen trees, including mature trees, coordinated with a licensed tree professional. New Castle County, Delaware and southern Chester County, Pennsylvania: removal, trimming, fallen trees and stump work reviewed for the property and scope.
Planning the job
Tree service by location
- Standing and fallen trees, including mature and large trees, are coordinated with a licensed tree professional.
- Scope, access, applicable requirements and the responsible professional are confirmed before work.
- Already-cut debris pickup can be requested separately.
Think about the space underneath the fallen tree
- A fallen tree can occupy the area you need for parking, walking or repairing a fence.
- Clearing access to a specific part of the property and removing every piece of tree material are different outcomes.
- Damaged fence panels, shed components or outdoor items can be reviewed separately for removal; they are not automatically included in the wood load or repair work.
Decide how the wood and base will be left
- You can ask to have the approved wood hauled away or discuss retaining selected material in a designated place.
- Stump work, grindings removal and backfill are additional decisions when relevant; taking away a fallen trunk does not by itself finish the ground beneath it.
- A tree resting partly on something still needs the appropriate review before any cleanup plan is confirmed.
- Stay clear rather than trying to change its position for the photos.
- Large fallen trees are accepted and coordinated with a licensed tree professional, with the original height recorded as planning information rather than a limit.
Conditions to keep in view
- Ordinary debris pickup becomes a distinct option only for loose, detached and already-cut material after tree work and hazards have been resolved.

Frequently asked questions
Is the whole tree resting on the ground?
If yes, choose Fully down in the form. If the trunk or canopy remains standing, leaning, hung up or under tension, choose No or Not sure so it receives a specialty review.
What if it is on a fence, shed or vehicle?
Stay clear and send that photo first. Structure-involved work is reviewed before cutting begins, and damaged-material removal can be included in the written scope.
Can you respond after a storm?
Storm-related requests are reviewed for access, hazards and current capacity. Large fallen trees are coordinated with a licensed tree professional. Ordinary debris pickup covers loose, detached and already-cut material after tree cutting and hazards are resolved.
Will all the wood leave?
It can. The quote states whether trunks, limbs, chips, grindings and other storm debris are removed or left at the property.
