  • 16 millioncolors

RGB color scenes for holidays, game days and any personal palette, set from your phone.

  • 2700Kwarm white

Dedicated white LEDs for everyday architectural lighting. Real warm white from its own diode, not a mix of colors.

  • 9 in.spacing

Lights every 9 inches, center to center, in a discreet trim-matched track beneath the eaves, gables and porch edges. Never on shingles.

Craftsman home viewed from the front corner, with warm-white permanent lighting beneath the gable trim and entry-porch edges.

Different homes. Same possibilities.

The house sets the line. The light follows it.

Every roof has its own edges: a farmhouse gable, a Craftsman porch, a long ranch eave, a covered porch out back. The fixtures mount beneath those real edges, never on the shingles, so each home is lit along the shape it already has.

One-home color demonstration

One home. A different look for every occasion.

This demonstration keeps one Colonial and one set of installed fixtures through all five scenes. Only the color program changes, which is exactly what happens on your phone.

Colonial home with warm-white permanent lighting beneath both gables, the central eave, entrance canopy and garage eave.

Discreet by day. Ready after dark.

Small lights under the trim, not on the roof

The fixtures are small, evenly spaced points mounted beneath the gable-edge trim, eaves, entrance canopy and garage edge, in a track color matched to your fascia. Nothing sits on the shingles. By day the run reads as part of the trim; after dark the whole roofline lights up.

Hardware. Lights sit every 9 inches, center to center, in a track matched to your trim; actual coverage and appearance depend on the property and the written scope.

Real warm white. A separate LED.

Each fixture carries a dedicated 2700K warm-white LED alongside its RGB color LEDs. Everyday white comes from that white diode, not from blending red, green and blue, so the roofline reads as true warm white every night and switches to any of 16 million colors when you want them.

Holiday and game day

Every occasion. Same fixtures.

Christmas, Halloween, spring and your team’s colors, all from the roofline lights you already have. Installed once, changed from your phone, warm white in between.

Example pricing

One home. Two ways to light it.

Compare lower-front coverage with house + rear pavilion coverage. Same warm-white fixtures, same house; the difference is how much roofline is included.

White Cape Cod house at dusk with warm-white permanent lights along the lower front eaves and entrance canopy.

Option 1

Front lower roofline

56 measured feet × $28$1,568

Installed$1,568

56 measured feet along this home’s lower front eaves and entrance canopy. Upper gables and dormers are not included. Extra runs can be requested in the measured quote, priced by footage plus the $3 surcharge where it applies.

White Cape Cod house at dusk with warm-white permanent lights along every front roofline, including the dormers and gable peaks.
Rear of a white house at dusk with warm-white permanent lights beneath the covered pavilion roofline and gable edge.

Option 2

Whole house + rear pavilion

190 estimated feet × $28$5,320Qualifying steep-pitch and dormer footage: 78 ft × $3$234

Estimated installed$5,554

Estimated, not measured: 56 ft front + 56 ft rear + 60 ft across the two pitched side gables + 18 ft front-dormer allowance = 190 ft. The 78 qualifying steep-pitch and dormer feet are already inside the 190, not added footage, and each carries the $3 surcharge once. This pictured example includes the rear pavilion roofline as agreed coverage; the pavilion itself is not included, and porch or pavilion runs on other homes are reviewed and quoted separately. Final footage, qualifying footage, electrical and scope are confirmed in the written quote.

What would your home cost?

Send the request and we measure the runs you want lit.

$28 per foot installed for the first 10 homes to book this season; regular rate $32 per foot. +$3 per foot for qualifying second-story, steep-pitch, dormer or hard-to-reach runs. $1,500 minimum. A quote request is not a booking; promotional eligibility is confirmed when the job is booked.

Each qualifying foot carries one $3 surcharge, never stacked; normal accessible roofline is the base rate only. In this example it applies to the 78 estimated steep-pitch and dormer feet. Final footage, qualifying footage and scope are confirmed in the written quote; custom or unshown electrical scope is assessed and quoted separately. No financing.

Free photo mock-up

Send a photo. See the glow.

Start with a clear daylight photo of the house from the street. Tell us which rooflines and areas you want lit and the colors you have in mind. Iron Elk may ask for an extra angle, then prepares a concept of how the lighting could look before the final measured quote.

  1. Take one clear daytime photo of the front of the house.
  2. Start the quote, choose Permanent Lighting, and ask for a lighting mock-up in the project details. After you send it, text or email a clear daytime photo of the house with your name and request reference; additional views can follow the same way.
  3. We reply with a concept and the next step toward a measured quote.

A mock-up shows a possible look for your home. It is not a guaranteed exact result; the measured quote confirms coverage and placement.

THE PROCESS

Three steps from photo to first scene.

  1. Send your house photo.

Tell us which areas you want lit and the holiday or team colors you have in mind. Start with a free photo mock-up.

  2. Confirm your lighting plan.

Know your coverage before you book.

Two separate Iron Elk warranties, both set out in writing with the quote, so you know exactly what is promised before you decide.

1-year Iron Elk service warranty

Iron Elk stands behind the installation for the first year. Written terms come with the quote.

Limited lifetime parts warranty

Iron Elk’s limited lifetime parts warranty is available to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Lifetime means the documented expected service life of each covered component, not the purchaser’s lifetime. Labor is not included in lifetime parts coverage. Written terms come with your quote.

One Iron Elk contact

Questions about either the installation or the system go to one number: (443) 941-0887.

Where we work

Iron Elk is based in Elkton. Permanent lighting requests are reviewed across Cecil County and selected Harford County ZIPs in Maryland, New Castle County in Delaware, and southern Chester County in Pennsylvania, including Elkton, North East, Newark and Oxford.

Availability depends on the job-site ZIP, project scope and schedule. Where the power connection requires a licensed electrician, one is coordinated as part of the work and listed in the written scope.

Frequently asked questions

Is the lighting visible during the day?

The track is low-profile and installed in a color matched to your trim or fascia, so by day it reads as part of the trim. At night the whole roofline lights up. The Day and night pairs on this page show the same hardware switched off and on.

Can I use it outside the holidays?

Yes. Most owners run a dedicated 2700K warm-white schedule every evening and switch to any of 16 million RGB colors for holidays or game day when they want them. The scenes are set from a phone app; nothing is added or taken down between seasons.

What do the per-foot rates cover?

Qualifying roofline coverage, measured on site. The regular installed rate is $32 per foot; the first 10 homes to book this season pay $28 per foot, a $4-per-foot (12.5%) saving. Second-story, steep-pitch, dormer or hard-to-reach runs add $3 per qualifying foot, charged once per foot, and the installation minimum is $1,500. The written quote confirms the measured footage, which footage qualifies and the final scope; electrical work is assessed separately, and eligibility for the first-10 rate is confirmed when you book.

Does it need an electrician?

The system connects to your home’s power. Where that connection requires a licensed electrician, one is coordinated as part of the work and listed in the written scope.

How does coverage work?

Iron Elk provides a 1-year service warranty on the installation. Iron Elk’s limited lifetime parts warranty is available to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Lifetime means the documented expected service life of each covered component, not the purchaser’s lifetime. Labor is not included in lifetime parts coverage. Written terms for both come with your quote, so you know your coverage before you book, and Iron Elk is the single contact for questions about either.

Will my HOA allow it?

Many associations accept permanent lighting when it is low-profile and installed cleanly along the trim. Check your covenants first; we can describe the hardware, track color and lighting schedule to help with that conversation.
