What the work can look like

Start with the tree's position
Tell us whether it is fully down, standing, leaning, split, hung up or resting on something. Those conditions determine the safest next step.
Licensed review for standing trees
Every standing-tree request is scheduled only after the licensed tree professional, site conditions and required equipment are confirmed.
Define the complete cleanup
Cutting, loading, hauling, stump work, grindings removal, backfill and final cleanup are separate parts of the scope. The quote states exactly what is included.
Where to request tree work
Cecil County and selected Harford County ZIPs: standing and fallen trees, including mature trees, coordinated with a licensed tree professional. New Castle County, Delaware and southern Chester County, Pennsylvania: removal, trimming, fallen trees and stump work reviewed for the property and scope.
Planning the job
Tree service by location
- Standing and fallen trees, including mature and large trees, are coordinated with a licensed tree professional.
- Scope, access, applicable requirements and the responsible professional are confirmed before work.
- Already-cut debris pickup can be requested separately.
Begin with the result you want from the tree work
- Not every tree request starts with a decision to remove the tree.
- You may want to discuss trimming, resolve a tree already down or reclaim space occupied by an unwanted tree and stump.
- A request for advice about the work is different from an instruction to remove everything in the photo.
- When more than one tree is involved, identify them separately.
- One may be standing, another may already be down, and a third may only have old debris beneath it.
Choose what stays after cutting is complete
- Wood removal, stump grinding and ground finishing are separate choices.
- You can also request selected wood retained in a designated area and the remaining approved debris removed.
- Removing the visible tree does not also remove every root or prepare the ground for a new structure.
Keep tree work and ordinary hauling distinct
- A pile of loose, already-cut limbs ready for collection differs from a whole fallen tree that still needs assessment and cutting.
- A photo from a safe location can help show that distinction without moving or disturbing the tree.
- Every standing-tree request needs the confirmed licensed tree professional before scheduling, and mature or large trees are assessed for size, condition and access.

Frequently asked questions
Can you take care of a tree that is already down?
Yes, within the applicable service scope. Fallen trees are accepted at any size, including large trees, and are coordinated with a licensed tree professional. A tree lying down does not automatically establish a licensing exemption, so the condition and required credentials are reviewed before scheduling.
What counts as fully down?
For the intake form, fully down means the trunk and canopy are no longer standing or suspended. If any part is leaning, split but attached, hung in another tree, under tension, touching wires or resting on a structure, choose Not sure and stay clear until it is reviewed.
What if the tree is still standing?
Send an approximate height and photos from a safe distance. Every fully standing tree uses a licensed tree professional, and mature trees over 20 feet are assessed for size, condition and access before the work is quoted.
Can the stump and debris go too?
Yes. The same request can include stump grinding, grindings removal, hauling, backfill and cleanup. Your quote identifies what is included.
