Job at a glance
Work included
Iron Elk provides or coordinates construction-debris removal, roof tear-off hauling, material delivery, equipment transport, farm hauling, storm cleanup and yard-waste removal across the service area. The actual load moved between the pickup point and the destination, with the loading responsibility agreed in advance. Delivery does not include spreading or grading unless quoted; equipment transport depends on suitable equipment and coverage.
Access and preparation
Origin and destination, what the load is and roughly how much, and access for the vehicle and trailer at both ends.
What shapes the quote
Weight and quantity, handling, distance and, where relevant, disposal.

What the work can look like

Describe the load
Weight, dimensions, loading method, tie-down points, material and destination determine the right equipment. Photos prevent wasted trips.
Know what is included
The quote identifies loading, transport, tipping or disposal, wait time and any equipment needed at either end.
Scheduled around the job
Hauling can be booked as a standalone service or coordinated with cleanouts, demolition, land clearing, roofing and site work.
Planning the job
Match the service to what needs to move
Hauling covers two different needs: taking unwanted material away and getting useful material or equipment to its next location.
Think about both ends of the trip
- A pickup can be ready while the destination is not.
- A supplier may need an order released, a job site may need a gate opened, or a receiving person may need to approve the unloading position.
- A pile delivered beside a driveway still needs a separate plan if it must be spread across the yard.
Combine related work without mixing up the loads
Identify which material is being retained, relocated, recycled or disposed of; different trips may need different equipment or destinations.

Frequently asked questions
Do you do recurring pickups?
Yes. Standing pickups for crews are scheduled by the week, and the price is set per load up front.
Does it have to be staged?
No. Point at it and we load it. Curbside staging just makes the job faster and the price smaller.
What can't you take?
Paint, chemicals, tires, propane, batteries, liquids. The prohibited items guide has the full list and where each thing goes instead.
