Cecil County disposal rates
The county currently links a schedule effective July 1, 2016. We checked that link on September 5, 2026; this is not a newly issued 2026 rate sheet. Confirm charges and acceptance before traveling.

The schedule applies the highest applicable category rate to an entire mixed load. Small-load exceptions and separately handled items have their own rules; see the complete county schedule.
Fallen trees are not all one disposal category
A trunk, stump and pile of small branches may follow different disposal paths. For downed-tree cleanup, identify what should leave, what wood should stay and whether stump work is needed. Sorting and transport belong in the quote.
Self-haul or request pickup
The county directs bulky waste, furniture, construction and cleanout material to the Central Landfill; the transfer stations take bagged household trash and recyclables. Check the facility instructions, hours and entry requirements before traveling.
What Iron Elk charges
The published Iron Elk trailer disposal charge is $99 per ton, based on recorded weight. Rental, labor, hauling and any special handling are identified in your written quote. Facility gate fees are separate from Iron Elk service pricing. Compare the published service pricing or request hauling for the actual load.

Where is the Cecil County Central Landfill?
The county lists 758 East Old Philadelphia Road, Elkton, MD 21921. Check the official facility page for current operating information.
Does the county fee include pickup?
No. A facility gate fee is not a pickup or hauling quote. Iron Elk identifies the service charges and disposal basis in writing.
Are large logs charged like brush?
Not necessarily. The county schedule separates yard waste from wood, stumps and logs over 3 inches in diameter. Identify the material before loading.
