Elk Complete

Elk Complete Limited Lifetime Warranty

For as long as the original purchaser owns the home.

This limited warranty is nontransferable and applies only to eligible Elk Complete gutter guard installations by Iron Elk. It covers materials, workmanship and a defined clog remedy, and it includes covered replacement parts and the corrective labor to put them right. It is separate from the Iron Elk permanent lighting warranty and from any manufacturer terms.

Corner detail of a stainless micro-mesh guard system fitted over white gutters with a downspout; generic system detail.

What is covered

Three commitments on the guards we install.

Coverage starts when the installation is complete and applies to the gutter runs identified in your original written order.

Materials

Functional defects in the guard mesh, frames, fasteners and mounting components Iron Elk supplied and installed.

Workmanship

Defects in Iron Elk’s original fitting, fastening and connections on the covered runs.

Defined clog remedy

If ordinary leaves, needles or plant debris get through the installed guards and stop a covered run draining, Iron Elk clears that run and corrects the guard-related cause.

Included at no charge

  • Assessment and service visits for accepted claims
  • Replacement parts, and removal and reinstallation where needed
  • Corrective labor, with no deductible and no separate trip or access fee

Your ordinary care

  • Check from the ground periodically and after major storms
  • Have surface buildup safely cleared when needed — any competent provider may do it
  • You are never asked to climb to make a claim

Outside this warranty

  • Damage caused by impact, animals, fire, major storm or ice and snow loading, or later work that damages the guards
  • Problems caused by unrelated defects or inadequate capacity in existing gutters, roof, fascia, grading or underground drainage
  • Routine surface clearing, and cosmetic changes that do not impair function

These exclusions apply to the problems those causes create. They do not remove coverage for an unrelated covered guard defect.

Elk Complete uses the same stainless micro-mesh as Elk Mesh. The added coverage does not change filtration or make the openings smaller.

Making a claim

Three steps, one contact.

  1. Tell us what you see

Call or text (443) 941-0887 or email ironelkservices@gmail.com with your name, the installation address and a description of the problem. Your installation date or invoice helps confirm eligibility.

  2. Send photos only if it is safe

Photos taken from the ground can be texted or emailed. They are optional, there is no web upload, and no photo is required to open a claim.

  3. We assess and put it right

Iron Elk arranges safe access, explains the coverage decision and the proposed remedy, and gets your approval before any chargeable work that falls outside this warranty. If an assessment or service may involve a noncovered charge, we explain it and get your approval before incurring that charge.

Please report problems promptly so avoidable damage is limited. There is no short forfeiture deadline, and a delay in telling us does not by itself end your coverage.

The written terms

Elk Complete Limited Lifetime Warranty

Version 1 · September 20, 2026

  1. Who provides this warranty, how long it lasts and what it covers

Iron Elk Site and Property Services provides this limited warranty for residential Elk Complete gutter guards that Iron Elk installs, on the gutter runs identified in the original written order. Coverage begins when the installation is completed and continues for as long as the original purchaser owns that same home.

This warranty is nontransferable. It does not pass to a later owner of the property and it does not follow the product if it is removed and installed elsewhere. There is no registration deadline and no paid maintenance membership is required to keep it in force.

Elk Screen and Elk Mesh installations, stand-alone gutter cleaning and any gutter runs left uncovered are not included in this particular warranty. The installation-service and product terms issued with those purchases continue to apply to them.

Iron Elk provides this version of the warranty with the Elk Complete quote before purchase and identifies it on the order. Existing customers keep the terms issued with their purchase; a later edit to this page does not reduce a warranty already in force.

  2. Materials

Iron Elk warrants the guard mesh, frames, fasteners and mounting components it supplied and installed against functional defects.

Ordinary cosmetic fading, staining or a color mismatch that does not impair function is not a covered defect. Ordinary rain and routine outdoor exposure are normal service conditions and are not treated as exclusions.

  3. Workmanship

Iron Elk warrants its own original work in fitting and fastening the guards and in making the connections on the covered runs. A defect in Iron Elk’s own installation is covered by this warranty and is not treated as improper installation under any exclusion in these terms.

  4. Defined clog remedy

If ordinary leaves, needles or other plant debris pass through the installed guards and cause an internal clog that prevents a covered gutter run from draining, Iron Elk will clear the affected run and outlet and correct the guard-related cause. This includes a connected downspout obstruction directly caused by that same covered guard failure.

This is a promise to correct a defined problem. It is not a claim that water can never overflow a gutter, and it is not a promise that guards never need care. Blockages in unrelated underground drains, and debris that enters through gutter sections that are not covered by Elk Complete guards, are outside this promise.

  5. Covered costs and remedy

There is no charge to you for work Iron Elk accepts as a covered claim. This includes the assessment and service visits, replacement parts, any necessary removal and reinstallation, and the corrective labor. There is no deductible and no separate trip or access fee for covered work.

Iron Elk will repair or replace the affected components with functionally equivalent material. If a covered failure cannot reasonably be corrected after reasonable attempts, Iron Elk will refund the original installed price of the affected section as shown on the order. If that section is not separately itemized, the refund is its proportional share of the original Elk Complete installed price, based on the affected covered footage. Iron Elk will agree a safe removal plan with you for that section.

A refund and agreed removal resolve only the affected section. Any unaffected installed sections keep their original coverage under this warranty.

Replacement components continue under the original ownership-based coverage. They do not start a new term and they do not make the warranty transferable. This warranty is not a general satisfaction guarantee and is not a whole-home money-back guarantee.

  6. Ordinary care you provide

Please check the gutters and guards from the ground periodically and after major storms, and have leaves, needles, pollen or other buildup resting on the guard surface safely cleared when it is needed. This routine surface clearing is not included in the warranty.

Any competent provider may carry out ordinary maintenance. Buying gutter cleaning from Iron Elk is not a condition of this warranty, and you are never required to climb onto a ladder or roof to make a claim.

If care is neglected, or if work by another party causes a problem, the exclusion applies only to the failure or damage actually caused by it. It does not automatically cancel unrelated coverage.

  7. What is outside this guard warranty

This warranty does not cover damage caused by falling limbs or other impact, animals, vandalism, fire, major storm damage, ice or snow loading, harmful chemicals, structural movement, misuse, or later roof or gutter work that damages the guards.

It also does not cover unrelated defects in, or inadequate capacity of, pre-existing gutters and downspouts, the roof, flashing, fascia or structure, site grading, or underground drainage.

These exclusions apply to the problems those causes actually create. They do not remove coverage for an unrelated defect in the guards Iron Elk installed. This warranty is not home insurance and does not promise that every source of water intrusion or storm damage is covered.

  8. How to make a claim, access and non-covered work

Call or text (443) 941-0887, or email ironelkservices@gmail.com, with your name, the installation address and a description of the problem. Your installation date, invoice or other reasonable evidence helps confirm eligibility. Photographs are optional and may be sent by text or email; take them only from a safe position at ground level.

Iron Elk will arrange safe access and assessment, explain the coverage decision and the proposed remedy, and obtain your approval before carrying out any chargeable work that is not covered by this warranty. If an assessment or service may involve a noncovered charge, we explain it and get your approval before incurring that charge. Accepted covered claims remain no charge, as set out in section 5.

Please report a problem promptly so that avoidable further damage is limited. There is no arbitrary short forfeiture deadline, and delayed notice does not by itself end coverage.

  9. Who stands behind this warranty

This is Iron Elk’s own direct commitment to the original purchaser. It is separate from any manufacturer warranty that may also apply. You do not need to make or exhaust a manufacturer claim first, and the ending of a manufacturer term does not by itself end this Iron Elk coverage.

  10. Your legal rights and this version

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in these terms removes any right that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are Version 1, dated September 20, 2026. This version applies when provided with the quote and incorporated into the original written Elk Complete order. Work sold earlier is governed by the terms issued with that purchase.

This warranty covers the Elk Complete guard system Iron Elk installs. It is not insurance, and it does not replace your homeowner’s policy.

Warranty questions

How long does Elk Complete coverage last?

It lasts for as long as the original purchaser owns that same home. There is no fixed year count and no registration deadline. It is nontransferable: it does not pass to a new owner and does not follow the product if it is moved.

Does Elk Complete filter better than Elk Mesh?

No. Elk Complete uses the same stainless micro-mesh as Elk Mesh. What it adds is Iron Elk’s limited lifetime warranty on the installed guard system, including covered parts and corrective labor.

What does a covered claim cost me?

Nothing for work Iron Elk accepts as covered: the assessment visit, replacement parts, any necessary removal and reinstallation, and the corrective labor. There is no deductible and no separate trip or access fee for covered work.

Do I still need to look after the guards?

Yes. Check from the ground periodically and after major storms, and have surface buildup safely cleared when needed. Routine surface clearing is not included, any competent provider may do it, and you are never asked to climb to make a claim.

Do I have to claim from the manufacturer first?

No. This is Iron Elk’s own commitment. You do not need to exhaust a manufacturer claim first, and a manufacturer term ending does not by itself end this coverage.
