Job at a glance

Work included

Tell us the material, volume, weight, access, loading responsibility and required pickup window. Clean wood, mixed debris, roofing and heavy material may require different handling. The actual load moved between the pickup point and the destination, with the loading responsibility agreed in advance. Delivery does not include spreading or grading unless quoted; equipment transport depends on suitable equipment and coverage.

Access and preparation

Origin and destination, what the load is and roughly how much, and access for the vehicle and trailer at both ends.

What shapes the quote

Weight and quantity, handling, distance and, where relevant, disposal.

Planning the job

Clear the work in stages or at the end

  • Choose collection between trades or a final pickup, and identify which piles are approved debris versus material still in use.
  • Removing a staged pile differs from carrying material out of several rooms, and neither automatically includes dismantling unfinished work.

A mixed pile still needs a clear description

  • Light, bulky packaging and dense tile or masonry can occupy similar space but create different loads.
  • Describe the main materials separately, including any concrete, soil or roofing mixed into the pile.
  • Photos of the whole area help show volume, while a closer view helps identify what is actually there.
  • If the debris is inside, include the route from the rooms to the loading point.

Frequently asked questions

Loose pile or bagged?

Either. Staged near the driveway prices lowest, but the crew loads from wherever it sits.

Drywall, lumber, tile together?

Yes, one load. Metal rides in its own pile because the county tips it free.
