Job at a glance
Work included
The agreed structure or installed feature taken down, debris handled and the area cleaned to the finish condition named in the scope. Grading, restoration and footing removal are included only when the written scope says so.
Access and preparation
Utilities that serve the structure, equipment access to it, and whether permits or a professional review apply to this removal.
What shapes the quote
Size and construction, hidden material or footings, utilities and permits, equipment needed and disposal volume. The quote depends on pool size, water status, deck connections, access and the requested finish. Disconnect utilities and identify buried lines before work begins.

Planning the job
Decide what the yard will become
- An unused pool can leave more than a frame to remove.
- The liner, wall panels, support posts, ladder, pump equipment and any surrounding deck are separate parts of the project.
- Ask for the result you actually want: existing base left in place, base material hauled away, or specified soil and grading work.
- If a replacement pool is planned, review its installation requirements rather than assuming the old base suits it.
Connect pool removal to the rest of the yard
- Water handling and equipment disconnections need to fit the removal schedule.
- Let Iron Elk know whether the pool still holds water and whether you intend to keep any equipment.
- The agreed plan identifies the handling and the responsible people before the frame and liner are removed.
- A request to remove the pool does not automatically include new lawn establishment.
