Job at a glance

Work included

Facility rules and fees vary by device and location. Remove personal data from electronics before pickup; Iron Elk does not provide data destruction unless specifically arranged. Furniture, appliances, mattresses, household items, renovation debris and outdoor clutter carried out, loaded and hauled. Anything that stays is marked before loading; item-specific conditions are confirmed in the quote.

Access and preparation

Note whether items are inside or already accessible, and any stairs, gates, doorways or tight routes on the way out.

What shapes the quote

Load volume (how much of the trailer it fills), labor and access, travel and disposal, plus any item-specific fee. The price you approve before we start is the invoice.

What the work can look like

Monitors, two desktop computers and a box of cables lined up on a garage floor for collection.

Planning the job

Turn a collection of devices into a clear pickup

  • A single television and a room of old office equipment need different descriptions.
  • Include stands, loose cables and accessories only if you want them removed as well.
  • For televisions, explain whether each screen is freestanding, mounted to a wall or stored in another room.
  • If removing a mount or disconnecting other equipment is part of the request, name that work separately.

Finish ownership and data decisions before release

  • Older electronics can stay connected to a household or business long after they stop being used.
  • Before releasing a device, decide whether any information, removable storage or account access needs attention.
  • Keep devices that are still awaiting that decision separate from those approved for removal.
  • Ordinary pickup does not establish that personal or business information has been removed.
  • For an office clear-out, identify who can authorize disposal of company equipment and whether any units are leased, due for return or being retained for another location.

Frequently asked questions

Do you wipe hard drives?

No, and we say so plainly: pull your drives or wipe them before pickup if the data matters.

Tube TVs too?

Yes. They're the heaviest thing in the room for their size, which is exactly why people text us.
