Accent & roofline lighting
Your architecture. After dark.

Dedicated 2700K warm white along the gable edges, eaves, entrance canopy and garage line, every night on a dusk schedule you set. The white comes from its own LED in each fixture, not from mixing colors, so the house reads as true warm white. The fixtures are small and trim-matched, so by day the house looks the way it always has. Installed in Elkton, Cecil County and nearby communities in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

+$3 per qualifying foot for second-story, steep-pitch, dormer or hard-to-reach runs, charged once per foot. $1,500 installation minimum. The written quote confirms measured and qualifying footage and final scope; electrical work is assessed separately.
How the project runs
Start with a free photo mock-up of your own house, then a measured written quote. Coverage and appearance depend on the property and written scope.
Everyday light, not just for December
Color temperature, zones and schedules
A warm white that flatters brick, siding and trim, dimmable to the level you like. Set a dusk-to-a-set-hour schedule and forget it. Zones let the entry canopy stay on later than the gables, or the garage line switch off first. The track is matched to your fascia color, so by day the run disappears into the trim.

Gables and entrances
Peaks draw the eye. Light them first.
On a home with several gables, the runs follow each gable-edge trim and the porch canopy. The peaks read as separate shapes after dark and the entrance stays the brightest point. More edges mean more track, which is why footage is measured along the trim rather than across the front.

Long, low eaves
One continuous line does the work.
A single-story ranch has almost no peaks, so a single warm-white run along the eave and entrance canopy carries the whole front. Lower height usually means simpler access, and the light falls evenly across brick or siding without hot spots.
Discreet by day. Ready after dark.
Small lights under the trim, not on the roof
The fixtures are small, evenly spaced points mounted beneath the gable-edge trim, eaves, entrance canopy and garage edge, in a track color matched to your fascia. Nothing sits on the shingles. By day the run reads as part of the trim; after dark the whole roofline lights up.

Free photo mock-up
Send a photo. See the glow.
Start with a clear daylight photo of the house from the street. Tell us which rooflines and areas you want lit and the colors you have in mind. Iron Elk may ask for an extra angle, then prepares a concept of how the lighting could look before the final measured quote.
- Take one clear daytime photo of the front of the house.
- Start the quote, choose Permanent Lighting, and ask for a lighting mock-up in the project details. After you send it, text or email a clear daytime photo of the house with your name and request reference; additional views can follow the same way.
- We reply with a concept and the next step toward a measured quote.
A mock-up shows a possible look for your home. It is not a guaranteed exact result; the measured quote confirms coverage and placement.

Where we work
Iron Elk is based in Elkton. Permanent lighting requests are reviewed across Cecil County and selected Harford County ZIPs in Maryland, New Castle County in Delaware, and southern Chester County in Pennsylvania, including Elkton, North East, Newark and Oxford.
Availability depends on the job-site ZIP, project scope and schedule. Where the power connection requires a licensed electrician, one is coordinated as part of the work and listed in the written scope.
Frequently asked questions
What color is the everyday light?
A dedicated 2700K warm white from its own LED in each fixture, not a blend of the color channels, dimmable from the phone app. You choose the brightness and the schedule; dusk to a set hour is the most common.
Where does the track go?
Beneath the gable-edge trim, along the eaves, under the entrance canopy and along the garage edge. Nothing is mounted on the shingles or the roof ridge.
Can it still do holiday colors?
Yes. It is the same programmable system used for holiday lighting, with 16 million RGB colors available. Warm white is simply the everyday scene from the dedicated white LED; color scenes are there whenever you want them.
Does it need an electrician?
The system connects to your home’s power. Where that connection requires a licensed electrician, one is coordinated as part of the work and listed in the written scope.
