Finished results

A patio built around the way you use it

Whether the old slab comes out first or the space is new, the surface, borders and connection to the door are planned together so the finished patio feels like part of the house.

Finished bluestone patio with a substantial masonry fire pit and low capped stone wall.
Finished flagstone garden walkway beside a low stone wall and established green planting.
Craftsmanship detail of brick paving, a charcoal border and natural stone wall coping.

Start with how you want to use the patio

Tell us whether you want a small seating area, room for a dining table or a patio connected to a walkway. The initial request can be a rough idea. Layout, dimensions, surface preferences and transitions to the house or yard are reviewed before the installation scope is finalized.

If you have pavers, stone or another finish in mind, include it in your notes. Materials and availability are confirmed during review rather than assumed from a photo or an early estimate.

New installation, replacement or repair

A new patio begins with the existing ground. A replacement also involves the old surface, its removal and the condition underneath. An existing patio with a localized problem can be reviewed for repair, but the appropriate approach depends on the cause and extent of the issue.

Deck removal or concrete removal can be added when those features occupy the planned patio area. The written scope should identify removal, material handling, base preparation, drainage provisions and installation.

Before and after: Patio And Hardscape Replacement

Plan the edges of the project too

Think about the route from the door, changes in height and where the patio meets beds or lawn. Include planting or lawn restoration if you want the surrounding area finished. Footprint, access, removal, materials and site conditions all affect the quote.

Frequently asked questions

Can you replace a deck with a patio?

The project can be reviewed that way. Include the deck, door height and intended patio area so removal and the new layout are considered together.

Can you reuse existing pavers?

Tell us what you want to keep. Their condition, quantity and suitability for the new layout need review before reuse is included.

Do I need exact dimensions to start?

No. Approximate size and photos are enough for an initial conversation. Measurements are confirmed before the final scope.

Tell us what you want to change.
